Bodum Chambord 4-Cup Coffee Press
Brewing a perfect cup of coffee is easy with the Chambord coffee press. Just add one scoop per cup of water, add hot water, wait 4 minutes, then press and enjoy. Pressed coffee is measured in European cup sizes, so the 4-cup press brews four 4-ounce cups of coffee, or about a mug and a half. Perfect for home or office, the Chambord 4-cup press makes brewing simple and easy. To clean up, just compost the grounds or dump them in the garbage and rinse the press. The entire unit is dishwasher-safe and the parts are replaceable. Press coffee is accepted around the world as one of the best ways to brew coffee because there are no paper filters to soak up the essential oils that provide the balance and flavor. In addition, the press combines excellent surface-area contact between coffee and hot water, producing the best extraction process.

I've seen spare carafes for sale at housewares stores. Also ask at coffee shops. You can also order them online from Bodum.
Bodum Brazil 3-Cup Glass Coffee Press, Black
The Brazil works on the same principle as all coffee presses. It combines coarse ground coffee with water that is just off of a boil. This combination along with 4 minutes of extraction time allows the oil and acids that give the coffee it's flavor to be completely extracted so you get a balanced and flavorful cup of coffee each time. After 4 minutes, just press and enjoy. There are no paper filters to soak up the oils, and cleanup is a snap. The 3 Cup Press is 12 oz and yields 3 - 4 oz. cups of coffee.

BODUM Chambord 12-Cup Coffee Press, if I buy this can I use it to just make 1 or 2 cups or do you need to make?
hi, I realize that the 12 cup bodum (51OZ) is for making a few cups of coffee, but what if I only want to make 1? can you do that or will it not come out well. Are these bigger units best only for several cups of coffee..?? I mayhave friends over so it would be better to get a larger one, but what if I want only 1 cup, can i use it? Thanks@!!!!!
I have the 8-cup press...you can make as much or as little as you like, just adjust your grounds for the amount of water (the press doesn't go all the way to the bottom).
French Press (Bodum) coffee maker... coffee to water ratio?
I've got a french press but i misplaced the instruction. What amount of coffee ground do I need per cup of water? Also how long to i let it steep before pressing it down?
i use one tablespoon per 6 oz of water, but some people like 2 tablespoons per 6 oz which is too strong for me. temp of water should not be boiling but at about 200F. If you boil water, let it cool for about a minunte before adding it to the coffee. I let it steep for 2 minutes before pressing the plunger. I pour out all the coffee so that you don't have some coffee that is tsill steeping because it will get extra strong if it stays in there.
How much coffee grounds should I use for an 8 oz cup in French Press?
I've been having trouble with this for a while. For Christmas I got a Bodum French Press, but I haven't been able to get the hang of how much coffee grounds to use with it. My coffee cups are 8 oz, and I've been grinding my beans at a coarse grind like they recommend for a French Press. So far, all my cups have turned out too weak, barely more flavorful than water. I'd like to make just a normal cup, maybe a little strong (remember, these are 8 oz cups). If somebody could help me out with this, I'd appreciate it.
1 heaped tea spoon but when you are making it coarse you must adjust you machine to boil for a little longer or release the steam slower. Try auto and you man get a good result.
